E-learning
My educational vision of e-learning is one of a student-centered environment where the emphasis is on learning, not teaching. Rather than being providers of information, in an e-learning environment we need to concentrate on ways to encourage students to become more active learners who apply knowledge rather than just regurgitate information. The focus on student learning allows a freedom where students become more self-directed in their learning experiences. This environment allows students to access a variety of resources and delivery methods. They can collaborate, communicate and reflect any time, any place in a self-paced environment which can be tailored to achieve their specific learning objectives and needs.
